

Iain is a former HMRC Inspector, and has worked in a senior tax role at Big 4 firm PwC in both the Leeds and Cambridge offices and subsequent became a partner and head of tax technical at a national firm of Chartered Accountants. Iain also worked as a partner for an internationally based tax consultancy and ran his own business before joining Qubic.
He can advise on a wide range of tax issues including reorganisations, transactional tax, capital gains tax, property and intellectual property matters, international planning and tax effective reward for business owners.
Iain sits on the SME technical committee at the ICAEW Tax Faculty and presented the 2010 Tax Faculty road show. He has also sat on the SME tax committee of the ICAEW since 2006 with involvement in several key consultations and has written and talked widely on tax matters, with regular publishings in leading tax journals.
